What Does It Mean To 'Clone' An Adventure?

Cloning an Adventure in Kai XR means duplicating a pre-existing Kai XR Adventure from the Gallery and making it available so you may teach with it in your classroom.

🤔 What Is An Adventure?

An Adventure is an interactive, educational experience that allows students to embark on engaging learning journeys. Each Adventure consists of various activities including virtual field trips, makerpsace challenges, quizzes, reading prompts, and more. All Adventures include a slideshow to teach your class with.

Each Adventure is designed to align with standards ensuring a purposeful and meaningful learning experience. Adventures enable students to apply their knowledge, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a deeper understanding of the subject through hands-on exploration and active participation.

Getting Started in the Gallery

The Kai XR Learn Gallery is a collection of premade, standards-aligned Adventures designed to engage and inspire educators and students alike. This collection showcases a wide variety of adventures created by a vibrant community of educators and makerspace enthusiasts.

Click on View Gallery from your dashboard.

In the Gallery, you can explore adventures within the gallery across different subject areas, grade levels, and learning objectives. These adventures serve as templates that can be cloned and tailored to suit individual classrooms and learners' unique needs.

Once you find an Adventure you'd like to use, click the "Clone" button.

You'll then receive a message that your Adventure has been cloned.

Where do I find my cloned Adventures?

Your cloned Adventures can be found in your dashboard under My Adventures.

Here, you can find the Adventure Code for each Adventure to share with your students. Once the Adventure code is shared, students are to log into Kai XR and join the Adventure by using the code.

Cloning Adventures by Adventure Code

You can also clone an Adventure by the Adventure Code. This is an easy way to share your own created Adventures with other teachers.

To clone by Adventure Code, click on the Clone Adventure by code link, and enter the six-digit code.
